If the hotel were to offer them just a few dollars off it wouldn't be of worth to someone thousands of miles away. However, if you say you are from Southern California or somewhere in the surrounding area of Las Vegas you may be able to get additional discounts because you could be viewed as a weekend spontaneous traveler. These visitors are often lured into hotels that offer deep discounts hoping to reel in a compulsive spender. So let them think you're from nearby even if you are not. If it saves you money then that's all that matters.
If you manage to get quoted a good deal when you are visiting a free bingo website or while on the phone then you should book it immediately. Good deals don't have to last and if you wait they will be gone in a matter of hours. Generally, you will be able to cancel if you need to. Just make sure you inquire about the cancellation policy. If you find a hotel you are interested in call them up after looking at their website. Ask the staff you are speaking to about any unadvertised specials they may have for the time when you are planning your trip. If they have any package deals or specials of any kind then you can expect to reap the benefits.
Make sure to plan your trip during the right time of year in order to save the most money. If you travel in December, for example, you will be able to get a room for dirt cheap prices because most people are spending their money on Christmas and not free online bingo gambling and entertainment. Other good times for room rates are in the summer months. Finally, do yourself a favor and work to find a package deal. If you go to a travel agent you will likely be able to find an amazing offer that includes airfare, room, food, and entertainment for much cheaper than if you were to be forced to pay for these things separately.
